MOIROLOI  (dirge) video-performance

 

In this video, I collaborated with the musician Dimitris Brentas. With his clarinet, he played a greek traditional dirge called "moiroloi", while I was offering a memorial to a dead tree. These dirges are sad songs and music which used to be sung when someone beloved passes away going to his last lourney. These actions have taken place on several trees around my area
